La Cascadelle

"La Cascadelle," an original piece in slag concrete, showcases a bouquet of 18 “flowers”, standing at 1.7m in height. Symbolizing harmony between humans and nature. The gaps between each “flower” create a welcoming sanctuary for local wildlife.

This sculpture was made using blast furnace slag, one of the alternatives to the very nefarious Portland cement. It also contains 50 kg of discarded oyster shells.
